Electrical Operations & Materials Coordinator
Pride Electric IncPosition Summary We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and highly organized Electrical Operations & Materials Coordinator to support the daily operations of our electrical construction company. This is a hands-on position that combines materials, purchasing, inventory, permitting, inspections, and administrative support . The ideal candidate understands construction, is comfortable working in both an office and warehouse environment, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to keep things moving. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory, including receiving, organizing, and staging materials and parts for electricians. Enter received materials into the company's computer system and maintain accurate inventory records. Create purchase orders and purchase materials for jobs and stock inventory. Coordinate with vendors regarding orders, availability, deliveries, and backorders. Pull required permits and maintain accurate permit records for jobs. Schedule and track required inspections for completed work, including learning and managing different requirements for each municipality. Provide administrative and organizational support to the Owner and Project Managers. Assist with job setup, paperwork, documentation, and maintaining job files. Enter AP invoices as needed. Communicate with municipalities, vendors, electricians, customers, and office staff as necessary. Assist coworkers when they are behind and be willing to shift priorities as business needs change. Perform other administrative and operational duties as needed. What We're Looking For Construction or electrical industry experience preferred. Extremely organized and detail-oriented. Strong work ethic with excellent follow-through. Dependable and reliable. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and changing direction quickly. Able to work independently and take initiative. Comfortable working in an office, warehouse, and construction environment . Strong computer and data-entry skills. Willing and able to learn different city and municipal permitting and inspection processes. Comfortable working with a combination of computer-based systems, paper documentation, and established processes. Team player who is willing to help wherever needed. One day may involve receiving materials and creating purchase orders; another may involve pulling permits, scheduling inspections, entering invoices, or helping the Project Manager organize a job. We're looking for someone who notices the details, follows things through, doesn't wait to be asked to solve a problem, and takes pride in keeping things organized and moving forward.
