This role is well suited for someone with experience in electrical drafting, industrial control panels, electrical design documentation, or CAD-based engineering.
Key Responsibilities
•Create and modify electrical schematics using provided examples, templates, and design standards.
• Develop electrical panel layout drawings showing component placement, mounting arrangements, and enclosure organization.
• Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on completed schematics and panel layouts.
• Select components from our standardized component parts list.
• Maintain consistency in component tags, wire numbers, terminal numbers, cross-references, and drawing formats.
• Identify and document discrepancies, missing information, or conflicts between schematics, layouts, and BOMs.
• Communicate questions and design uncertainties before making assumptions that could affect the final design.
Required Qualifications
• Experience creating or editing electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical components such as circuit breakers, fuses, contactors, relays, power supplies, terminal blocks, PLCs, motor drives, and control devices.
• Familiarity with panel layout, DIN rail mounting, wire duct, enclosure sizing, and component spacing.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and understand basic electrical control circuits.
• Experience preparing BOMs or parts lists from engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established standards and templates.
• Proficiency with at least one electrical CAD or drafting platform.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and incorporate feedback.

Expected Deliverables
For each assigned project, deliverables may include:
1. Electrical schematics: Complete, clearly labeled drawings with appropriate component tags, wire numbers, terminal designations, and cross-references.
2. Electrical panel layouts: Component placement drawings with appropriate dimensions, mounting details, and enclosure organization.
3. Bill of Materials (BOM): A structured parts list containing manufacturer, part number, description, quantity, and other required purchasing or manufacturing information.
