Electrical apprentice/ Warehouse driver

Overview Spend time as an electrician or apprentice in the warehouse. You will leave this job with extensive knowledge on electrical equipment. As a warehouse worker you will spend time reviewing job orders, organizing and troubleshooting equipment, as well as driving around Omaha and surrounding areas delivering equipment and parts. There is a lot for an apprentice to learn about the electrical industry that being in the field won't even provide. Become an expert in parts and how they work, the flow of large commercial jobs and strategies on how to complete multistep plans in a diligent and professional way. This job will provide you with the skills to see a complex set of tasks and carry it out in an organized way that will transfer well into a field enviornment where time is of the essence and organization is imperative. Deliveries in Omaha and surrounding areas. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution Forklift operations Use hand tools, power tools Load, transport, and deliver electrical materials, tools, and equipment safely between job sites and warehouse locations Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory, and project documentation in accordance with safety protocols Skills Prior experience or training in industrial or commercial electrical work is highly desirable but not necessary. Be willing to learn how to make simple welds Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and construction site safety practices desirable but not necessary Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate warehouse vehicles safely Ability to drive with a trailer or the willingness to learn on the job.
