EFP - Line Lead

LINE LEAD PERSON EFP, LLC, La Vergne, TN 1st Shift: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm Starting at $26 - $30 / hour JOB SUMMARY The Line Lead is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Nonwoven Fiber line as well as the associates assigned to work on that line. These duties include but are not limited to the following: DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Execute leadership in directing lower position associates in their duties Maintain & lead 5S activities for the Nonwoven Fiber Line Ensure all team members follow best practices and safety procedures. Complete daily reports for each production order completed Complete required paperwork for reporting Quality metrics Report to the Production Manager Manage, support, and motivate all team members working on the Nonwoven Fiber Line. Train and transition all new hires in the Nonwoven Fiber Line department. Verify that parts meet quality requirements & report quality concerns in a timely manner. Notify supervisor of any required equipment maintenance or significant process changes. Create an open communication culture. Other related duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions such as ratios and unit conversions Knowledge of LOTO procedures Strong interpersonal skills Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Forklift Certification PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 40+ hours weekly Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time Squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, crouching, balancing, crawling, reaching, and climbing Lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing up to 40lbs COMPANY OVERVIEW An industry leader in providing practical solutions to foam molding and fabrication, EFP has a diversified product offering and serves the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical, automotive, recreational vehicle, appliance, plumbing, consumer goods, and building and construction industries.
