Ecommerce Product Listing & Inventory Specialist
ConfidentialSid's Equipment Surplus sells specialized commercial equipment through eBay, including access control, surveillance, networking, power, UPS, and low-voltage products. We are looking for a careful, dependable person to identify inventory, photograph it, research actual market value, and create accurate eBay listings. This is a hands-on warehouse position. The right person enjoys figuring out exactly what an item is, finding the correct model or part number, comparing sold listings, and presenting the product clearly to buyers. Responsibilities · Identify manufacturer, model number, MPN, UPC, condition, quantity, included accessories, and visible defects. · Photograph products and packaging on a clean background, including labels, connectors, seals, accessories, and damage. · Research comparable sold items using eBay Product Research and other reliable manufacturer or distributor sources. · Recommend competitive prices based on exact model, condition, completeness, and current demand. · Create clear eBay titles, item specifics, condition notes, descriptions, categories, and shipping details. · Save listings as drafts for owner review during the training period. · Organize photographed and listed inventory so each item can be located quickly. · Maintain accurate work and promptly flag uncertain identification, condition, or pricing issues. Qualifications: · Strong attention to detail and willingness to verify exact part numbers. · Comfortable using a computer, smartphone or camera, web search, spreadsheets, and online marketplaces. · Clear written English and ability to describe condition accurately. · Reliable attendance and ability to work independently after training. · Able to safely handle typical warehouse inventory and move items within reasonable physical limits. · eBay selling, product photography, electronics, security equipment, inventory, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required. How Success Will Be Measured: · Correct product identification and item specifics. · Accurate condition descriptions and complete photo sets. · Sound sold-price research and sensible pricing recommendations. · Approximately 8–15 quality listings per day after training, depending on product complexity. · Low correction rate and organized inventory handoff. Pay: $17.80 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
