In this position, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluation the quality of homes from point of purchase to one (1) month post inspection. This position involves executing the full construction process, ensuring requirements and inspections are met as it relates to design specs, scheduling, building codes and managing construction workers, labourers, and trades within budget. This role is located in the Caledonia, Ontario. This posting is for a replacement position. The expected annual salary range for this role in $120,000 - $155,000/year. This position is also eligible to participate in our Construction Bonus Program. What We Are Looking For: Post-secondary education in Construction, Civil Engineering, or relevant field 5-10+ years of construction-related experience, preferably in Low Rise residential Construction. 2+ years of experience in an Assistant Superintendent or similar role. In depth knowledge of the Ontario Building Code (section 9); Ontario Health& Safety Regulations and Tarion. Working knowledge of BuildPro, MS Office & Newstar. What You’ll Be Doing Each Day Oversee all aspects of residential construction from site preparation and foundation through framing, mechanicals, finishes, exterior work, inspections, and homeowner turnover. Manage daily site operations, schedules, trades, labourers, materials, and construction activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality standards. Coordinate with Construction Managers on project releases, budgets, scheduling, procurement, and overall construction planning. Coordinate and oversee municipal, engineering, soil, structural, framing, plumbing, electrical, and other required inspections and certifications. Manage procurement and timely delivery of construction materials, including structural steel, lumber, windows, roofing, cladding, concrete, mechanical equipment, and finishing materials. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades throughout all phases of construction, ensuring work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standards. Conduct ongoing site inspections and quality-control reviews, identifying and resolving deficiencies before key construction milestones and homeowner turnover. Coordinate homeowner, purchaser, trade, and construction-related escalations, ensuring issues are addressed efficiently and professionally. Ensure all homes are construction-ready and turnover-ready, including completion of framing checklists, purchaser extras, inspections, deficiencies, and final exterior requirements. Maintain accurate construction documentation, including timesheets, BuildPro records, checklists, schedules, and material orders. Ensure compliance with company safety policies, site safety requirements, building codes, and inspection standards.
