East Coast Warehouse Supervisor

Position Summary: Professional audio and lighting company seeks to hire a full-time East Coast Warehouse Supervisor for its fast-paced offices. This person will be hands on and must be a hardworking self-starter who is reliable and inquisitive with impeccable attention to detail. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Organizing and monitoring storage, order processing, and distribution of goods in our Lititz, PA and Farmingdale, NY warehouses. Report to and serve as back up to the Warehouse Control Manager. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will supervise warehouse staff in multiple locations (Lititz, PA; Farmingdale, NY) Job Responsibilities: Inspecting, receiving, and shelving incoming goods/sending receiving logs to NY Packing and shipping orders with our various forwarders (FedEx, UPS, etc.) Managing stock transfers between multiple locations Keeping accurate inventory listings Strapping and wrapping of skids Scanning/Sending of corresponding paperwork back to NY office of orders shipped. Scheduling, conducting, reporting and reconciling periodic inventory counts Maintain clean, organized and safe shipping and warehouse spaces Ensure the receipt and shipping of goods are performed within documented procedures Handling returns paperwork/follow up on return exchanges Manage East Coast warehouses including making sure each warehouse is organized and clean at all times. Coordinate with the warehouse teams to manage and allocate space for all incoming goods. Investigate, resolve, and prevent shipping errors. Initiate, coordinate, and reconcile cycle counts for East Coast warehouses. Complete and reconcile mid-year and year end inventory counts for East Coast warehouses. Communicate with Ops team on shipments and deliveries, including any exceptions. Be aware of and responsible for the timely completion of all urgent order processing; including same day-next day critical deliveries. Prepare the warehouse and product for periodic promotions through communication with Ops team Responsible for the accuracy of all shipments being recorded into the warehouse and ERP system Basic Qualifications: 3-5 years’ experience in warehouse operations and inventory management Ability to operate forklift, and pallet jacks Must be able to lift 65 lbs. and move heavy equipment with warehouse tools safely Proficiency with Microsoft office applications and experience with ERP systems Must be a problem solver and excellent team player with a desire to learn Attention to detail, timely follow up on open issues Creativity to provide solutions to complex customer logistics requirements Ability to assess the environment and make informed decisions Excellent communication skills at all levels Ability to multitask Dependable and punctual Pleasant attitude Proven warehouse management including processing of inventory transactions in an ERP system Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work Eligibility Requirements: In person in our Lititz, PA office. The ability to travel to our Farmingdale, NY office regularly, on a monthly basis.
