E-Commerce Smoke Shop Operations Specialist

Job Overview Giant Labs is looking for a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Customer Service & Order Fulfillment Specialist (Runner) to join our team! We are in the smoke shop industry (vapes, hardware, e-liquids, etc.). This is a hybrid role that combines hands-on order fulfillment and inventory support with customer service responsibilities. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys staying active, works well in a fast-paced environment, and can transition seamlessly between physical warehouse tasks and assisting customers. The first half of your day will focus on sourcing products from the market, picking and fulfilling orders, and assisting with inventory management. During the second half of your day, you will transition into a customer service role, helping customers with their orders, answering questions, and resolving issues. We are looking for someone who is organized, efficient, reliable, and committed to providing an excellent customer experience. Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfillment & Market Runner (First Half of the Day) Travel throughout the local market to locate and retrieve products needed to fulfill customer orders. Work efficiently to source products from various vendors and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Assist with picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. Verify product quantities, variations, and accuracy before orders are processed. Help receive, organize, and restock inventory. Monitor inventory levels and communicate product shortages or discrepancies to management. Assist with general warehouse operations and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Coordinate with the fulfillment team to prioritize urgent orders and ensure daily shipping deadlines are met. Customer Service (Second Half of the Day) Respond to customer inquiries through email, phone, live chat, and other communication channels. Assist customers with order status updates, tracking information, shipping questions, and product inquiries. Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently, including missing items, incorrect orders, and shipping-related issues. Process order modifications, cancellations, returns, and replacements according to company policies. Communicate with the fulfillment team to investigate and resolve order-related issues. Maintain accurate customer records and document interactions when necessary. Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional customer service while ensuring a positive shopping experience. Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in customer service, order fulfillment, warehouse operations, or a similar role is preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and transition between different responsibilities throughout the day. Comfortable using computers, email, and online order management systems. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily deadlines. Must be comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout the workday. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license to travel throughout the local market. Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is a plus.
