E-commerce & Shipping Associate - Sipsy E. Hollywood

Job Title: Shipping & E-Commerce Fulfillment Specialist Location: on-site, East Hollywood Job Summary We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Shipping and E-Commerce Fulfillment Specialist to handle our daily online order processing, physical packing, and customer communications. In this role, you will be the backbone of our order cycle—ensuring products are securely packaged, shipments are sent out on time, and customers receive friendly, helpful updates. You will also keep our website accurate by updating product stock levels and information as needed. This role focuses entirely on operations, fulfillment, and customer support. Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfillment & Shipping Pick, pack, and label daily customer orders accurately, neatly, and efficiently. Generate shipping labels using integrated website shipping tools or multi-carrier software for major providers (UPS, FedEx, USPS). Prepare and schedule daily carrier pickups or drop-offs. Inspect items for quality assurance before packaging to minimize errors. Maintain and organize packing material inventory (boxes, tape, mailers, bubble wrap) and request restocks before running low. Customer Support & Communication Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email or chat regarding order status, shipping updates, and tracking numbers. Resolve delivery issues , such as missing packages, incorrect addresses, or shipping damage, by coordinating with carriers. Process incoming returns and exchanges directly within the website platform according to company policy. Website Maintenance & Inventory Update stock counts on the website platform to reflect physical inventory and prevent overselling. Modify product details from time to time, including updating prices, editing basic descriptions, or uploading new product photos provided by management. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 1+ years of experience in e-commerce fulfillment, warehouse packing, and customer service. Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience navigating e-commerce store dashboards including Shipstation or other shipping software Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or walk for long periods and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs during packing shifts. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, a helpful and patient attitude when emailing customers, and solid time-management skills. Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week Work Location: In person
