E-Commerce Operations & Marketing Assistant Mardo Cigars | Sarasota, FL | Full-Time Pay: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience About Us Mardo Cigars is an established premium cigar retailer serving customers nationwide since 1994. We specialize in boutique and premium cigars, online retail, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. We're growing and looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated individual to become an important part of our daily operations. We're looking for someone who can wear multiple hats, take initiative, and help keep our business running smoothly. Job Responsibilities E-Commerce & Order Fulfillment Pick, pack, and ship daily customer orders accurately. Receive incoming shipments, verify inventory, and organize products. Maintain accurate inventory counts and stock organization. Assist with Shopify product listings, pricing, and inventory updates. Help process customer orders, returns, and customer inquiries. Marketing & Social Media Assist with Instagram, Facebook, and other social media content. Help create email marketing campaigns and promotional materials. Take product photos and assist with basic video content. Use Canva or similar software to create marketing graphics. Support product launches, sales promotions, and online marketing. Daily Operations & Organization Keep inventory, shipping areas, and workspaces organized. Assist with daily administrative and operational tasks. Coordinate incoming products and outgoing shipments. Help improve workflows and business efficiency. Work directly with the owner to manage daily priorities. Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated. Comfortable using computers and learning new software. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to perform hands-on warehouse and shipping tasks. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred: Shopify or other e-commerce platform experience. Inventory management or shipping experience. Canva, Photoshop, or basic graphic design. Social media marketing experience. Product photography or video editing. Previous cigar industry experience is required. Growth Opportunity This is more than just a packing and shipping position.
