E-Commerce / Inventory Associate

Retro Games Japan is a growing online retro video game business specializing in authentic Japanese video games, consoles, and accessories. We refurbish, test, and sell thousands of retro gaming products online, with eBay as our primary sales channel. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented E-Commerce / Inventory Associate to join our small team in Montrose. This position is primarily focused on preparing and listing products for online sale, product photography, inventory organization, and order fulfillment. Some basic cleaning and product preparation will also be part of the job. You do not need to be a retro video game expert. We can teach you the products. Being organized, comfortable with computers, able to follow a consistent process, and paying attention to details are much more important. What You'll Do Your responsibilities will include: Create and prepare eBay product listings Take clear, consistent product photos Enter product information accurately Assign and maintain inventory/SKU locations Organize and put away listed inventory Inspect products for obvious condition issues Perform basic cleaning and product preparation Replace game cases and other simple components when needed Locate inventory for sold orders Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment Help process incoming inventory Follow established procedures for product condition, photography, listing, and inventory Assist with other e-commerce and warehouse tasks as needed As you gain experience, you may be trained to independently handle additional product categories and parts of our listing process. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Reliable and punctual Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable using computers (We use Mac) and learning new software Able to work efficiently on repetitive tasks without sacrificing accuracy Able to follow written procedures and/or video tutorials. Comfortable taking product photos and working with physical inventory Able to work independently after training Willing to ask questions when something doesn't look right Able to safely lift and move boxes of inventory as part of normal warehouse work Experience with eBay, e-commerce, photography, inventory management, shipping, or retro video games is helpful, but not required . What Matters Most to Us Accuracy and consistency are extremely important. We handle a large number of individual products, so putting an item in the wrong inventory location, entering incorrect product information, or overlooking a condition issue can create problems later. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing things correctly while becoming faster and more efficient as they learn our system. Schedule Approximately 30–40 hours per week initially , with the possibility of additional hours as the holiday season becomes busier and as you become trained in more areas of the business. This is an in-person position (Indoor) in Montrose, Colorado. Pay $17–$19 per hour, depending on experience. Why Work With Us? We're a small business, so your work has a visible impact.
