E-Commerce / Amazon FBA Shipping & Warehouse Associate - Saint James Long Island

We are looking for an experienced, hardworking E-Commerce Shipping & Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. This position will help with our Amazon FBA and e-commerce shipping operation . The day-to-day work includes preparing products for shipment, labeling merchandise, packing products into boxes, organizing inventory, and helping the rest of the warehouse team wherever needed. We are not looking for someone who simply wants to come in, do the minimum, and go home. We want someone who cares about the quality of their work, works hard, helps their coworkers, and wants to make the operation better. Responsibilities Label and prepare products for Amazon FBA shipments Pack and organize products into shipping boxes Prepare inventory for Amazon and other e-commerce orders Follow labeling, packaging, and shipping requirements accurately Check products and shipments for mistakes before they leave Keep work areas organized and clean Help receive, move, organize, and prepare inventory Work with other team members to complete large shipments efficiently Jump in and help in other areas when the team needs assistance Identify problems or inefficient processes and help us improve them What We're Looking For Previous warehouse, shipping, fulfillment, Amazon FBA, or e-commerce experience is required. The right person will be: Hardworking and dependable Comfortable working at a fast pace Accurate and detail-oriented Someone who takes pride in their work A strong team player Willing to help others instead of saying, "That's not my job" Able to follow established procedures Interested in learning better and faster ways to get the job done Reliable and consistent with attendance Able to stay productive without needing to constantly be supervised Experience That Is a Plus Experience with any of the following is especially helpful: Amazon FBA E-commerce fulfillment Shipping and receiving Product labeling Picking and packing UPS, FedEx, or USPS shipping ShipStation or similar shipping software Barcode scanners Inventory management systems Preparing high-volume shipments Physical Requirements This is an active warehouse position. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods, moving throughout the warehouse, packing boxes, handling merchandise, and lifting typical shipping cartons. About the Position We are a growing e-commerce operation and ship a large volume of products through Amazon and other online marketplaces. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of the team. There is room for someone with the right attitude to take on additional responsibility and grow with the operation.
