Location: Albany, NY Category: Professional Positions Job Type: Full-time Posted On: Thu Oct 1 2026 Job Description: The Office of System-wide Procurement is looking to fill an E-Business Manager to support SUNY's eProcurement Solution (Jaggaer System). The position is responsible for operating, configuring and optimizing the digital procurement process using the e-procurement platform to streamline purchasing workflows, reduce manual processes and improve transparency. This role combines traditional procurement expertise with technology-driven sourcing, ensuring efficiency and compliance, that results in cost-savings. This role is crucial to campus procurement shops to deliver savings, efficiencies, and increased compliance through an online, optimized shopping experience. Duties and Responsibilities: Under the guidance of project leadership, the E-Business Manager will be the primary contact for campuses with the following responsibilities: Review and correct supplier import files daily from multiple Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Manage project mailbox; provide support for daily emails on various troubleshooting issues for campuses. Update & optimize the Jaggaer central repository with training documents and recordings. Support campuses with vendor file issues, handling setup requests and ensuring data accuracy for local procurement actions. Ensure all procurement activities such as requisition, approval, purchase order creation, and invoice processing are conducted efficiently and in compliance with internal controls and regulations. Serve as a Jaggaer procurement liaison and resource for all SUNY campuses; provide guidance, technical assistance, and training to facilitate the e-procurement process. Provide support and assistance as needed to the SUNY eProcurement Supplier File Management Group. Provide testing support for any new enablement projects, including being a team member to onboarding campuses through eProcurement and Accounts Payable (AP) onboarding phase. Participate in internal meetings: Jaggaer Workshop, Jaggaer Improvement, AP Chat. Work with finance, operations, legal, and other departments to align procurement activities with business needs and strategic objectives. Ensure adherence to procurement policies, anti-fraud measures, and regulatory requirements and provide fiscal and administrative oversight of contracts in accordance with applicable New York state laws, rules, regulations and policies. Perform other assigned duties as requested. Job Requirements: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in public administration, supply chain management, business, or related field with 2 years' experience in an information technology software/systems role with customer service responsibilities. Or Associates degree and 4 years of experience in an information technology software/systems role with customer service responsibilities. Strong written, negotiation, verbal, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with various levels of management at campuses and state agencies. Strong organizational skills include attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to travel (10%), mostly within NYS. Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with an eProcurement system (procure-to-pay). Experience in SUNY, higher education, or New York government agency procurement. Working knowledge of Jaggaer. Knowledge of financial databases. Knowledge of NYS purchasing guidelines. Experience leading communications and coordinating conference/meetings for large, decentralized groups. Additional Information: Salary is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, training, and certifications.
