DZ Route Service Driver — From $28/hr

Our company is looking for a DZ-licensed driver in Kitchener, ON to run a dedicated local route delivering batteries to dealers and providing hands-on account support.
Pay
- Starting from $28.00 per hour
- Expected minimum of 40 hours per week
What you'll do
- Drive a set delivery route, bringing batteries to dealer locations safely and on schedule
- Load and unload the truck and track company

inventory accurately
- Keep battery displays stocked, clean and properly rotated
- Manage the full dealer relationship: sales, consignment terms, warranty claims, rotations, cash collection and invoicing
- Pick up old or used batteries and bring them back to the warehouse
- Handle route paperwork and transactions promptly
- Build strong, lasting relationships with dealers to keep them on board
Requirements
- Valid DZ license with a clean driving history
- Current DOT medical card
- At least one year of delivery and customer service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable using tablets, scanners and basic computer systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to work overtime, and occasionally overnight routes depending on location
- Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
