Scrap my Car Inc.D&M Tilt and Load is hiring an experienced DZ Float & Tandem Tilt-N-Load Driver for a full-time daytime position in Ottawa. Schedule Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. No regular weekend work Pay $30.00–$33.00 per hour, based on experience Paid bi-weekly About the Role You will safely transport construction equipment and materials throughout Ottawa and the surrounding area. Our work includes scissor lifts, Bobcats, zoom booms and other heavy construction equipment. We are looking for an experienced operator who can confidently work with both float and tandem equipment. Key Responsibilities Operate float and tandem tilt-n-load equipment safely and efficiently Load, secure, transport and unload construction equipment and materials Plan safe loading and unloading procedures for different equipment and job sites Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers and job-site personnel Follow all traffic laws, load-securement requirements and company safety procedures Identify and report equipment or vehicle concerns promptly Requirements Valid Ontario DZ driver’s licence with a clean driving record; AZ licence is preferred Demonstrated experience operating both float and tandem equipment Strong knowledge of load securement and safe equipment transport Experience moving construction equipment such as scissor lifts, Bobcats and zoom booms Ability to work Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable, punctual, safety-focused and professional Applicants must already have meaningful hands-on experience; this is not an entry-level driver position What We Offer Competitive pay of $30.00–$33.00 per hour, based on experience Consistent full-time daytime schedule Group Manulife health and dental benefits after successfully completing the three-month probationary period Stable, long-term work with an established company Supportive, safety-focused work environment How to Apply Please submit your resume through Indeed.
