ConfidentialJob Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dumpsters Dispatch professional to coordinate the efficient movement and management of waste containers across the Charlotte and surrounding areas. In this dynamic role, you will oversee scheduling, routing, and dispatching of dumpsters to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Your expertise in transportation planning, logistics, and communication will drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Coordinate daily dumpster pickup and delivery schedules using vehicle dispatch software and transportation management systems. Utilize GPS and GIS technology to plan optimal routes, monitor fleet locations, and ensure adherence to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Manage inbound and outbound freight data entry accurately within logistics platforms such as Oracle Transportation Management. Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear updates on dispatch instructions and service status. Monitor road transportation operations to address any delays or issues promptly, adjusting plans as needed for efficiency. Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, vehicle logs, shipping & receiving documentation, and compliance reports. Provide exceptional customer service by handling inquiries professionally via phone calls and internal communication channels. Skills Proficiency in GIS, GPS navigation, transportation planning, and vehicle dispatch software. Strong knowledge of supply chain logistics, fleet management, and road transportation operations. Experience with transportation management systems Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for phone call management, internal coordination, and customer interactions. Data entry accuracy combined with analysis skills to interpret logistical data for process improvements. Familiarity with DOT regulations governing freight transport and vehicle safety standards. Ability to operate multi-line phone systems confidently while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures within a 3PL (third-party logistics) context. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
