Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks with manual transmissions. Load, unload, and deliver dumpsters to designated locations while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues and perform basic maintenance when necessary. Load and unload dumpsters efficiently. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery schedules and address any concerns promptly. Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and safety documentation throughout each shift. Qualifications Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver, preferably with dumpster or roll-off truck experience. Strong driving skills with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), including experience with manual transmission vehicles. Mechanical knowledge related to dump trucks, tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks Ability to perform in various weather conditions. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers. A clean driving record demonstrating safe driving habits.
