Dump Truck Driver - Night Shift (2+ Years of Experience)

Pay: $26.00 - $29.27 per hour Job description: NIGHT SHIFT Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate various types of dump trucks, including roll-off trucks and tractor-trailers, to transport freight, load and unload materials, and support route driving operations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to transportation regulations. Candidates with experience in truck driving, delivery routes, and handling different trailer types are encouraged to apply. Duties Operate dump trucks, including manual transmission models, safely and efficiently across designated routes. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Transport materials to various locations while adhering to scheduled routes and delivery deadlines. Perform routine inspections of trucks before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with maintenance standards. Assist with the loading and securing of freight on flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, or roll-off trucks as needed. Maintain accurate logs of daily mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo details in compliance with company policies. Follow all safety protocols related to truck operation, cargo handling, and road safety regulations. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience driving dump trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, or roll-off trucks. Demonstrated ability to load & unload freight efficiently and safely. Knowledge of route driving best practices and delivery procedures. Experience with manual transmission trucks preferred. Ability to operate forklifts or other loading equipment is a plus. Strong understanding of transportation safety regulations and compliance standards. Prior delivery driver experience highly desirable. Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform vehicle inspections regularly.
