Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Knowledge of lower mainland truck routes MUST HAVE MANUAL LICENSE CLASS 1 Experience 1 year experience MUST HAVE MANUAL LICENSE On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Various locations in lower mainland. ResponsibilitiesTasks Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption CredentialsCertificates, licences, memberships, and courses Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Experience and specializationType of trucking and equipment Dump truck Communication systems experience Citizens band (CB) radio Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Additional informationWork conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Safe Driving Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability Judgement Organized Reliability Team player Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour Experience: Dump Truck and Pony: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: Manual Class 1 License (No Auto Restriction) (required) Work Location: In person
