Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator

Duties Safely operate dump trucks for transporting materials across construction sites while complying with all safety regulations and equipment safety procedures Operate construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and Caterpillar equipment for excavation, grading, and utility work Perform routine maintenance checks on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity Assist in construction utility locating to identify underground utilities before excavation or trenching begins Support site preparation activities by performing construction grading and site leveling tasks Follow federal construction safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe work environment for all team members Collaborate with other crew members to execute project plans efficiently and effectively Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment including dump trucks, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and Caterpillar machinery Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment maintenance practices Construction site experience with utility work, excavation, grading, and general construction activities Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation Ability to perform construction utility locating using specialized tools and techniques Prior experience in construction utility work or related roles is highly desirable Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial truck driving responsibilities This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute their expertise in heavy equipment operation while supporting impactful infrastructure projects.
