Job Overview We’re seeking a safety-focused Class A dump truck driver ready to keep materials moving and projects on schedule. You’ll operate a dump truck and, as assigned, other commercial vehicles to transport and deliver materials. Work may include local route driving or over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, with clear attention to vehicle condition, cargo security, and applicable regulations. Duties Drive dump trucks and other commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, using manual transmission when required. Follow assigned routes with GPS navigation and complete delivery driving tasks accurately. Load and unload materials; handle truck loading and unloading, manual handling, and logistics cargo handling safely. Inspect vehicles and secure freight before, during, and after trips; report issues promptly. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, plus hazardous materials regulations when applicable. Qualifications Valid Class A commercial driver’s license and safe commercial truck driving experience; delivery driver experience and route driving are valuable. Demonstrated skill in driving, truck driving, and operating manual-transmission vehicles. Able to safely load and unload cargo and perform manual handling. Experience with flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, automobile transportation, hazmat (hazardous materials), or dangerous goods is preferred, depending on assigned work. Knowledge of freight handling and applicable DOT, FMCSA, and hazardous materials requirements is an asset. Pay: $350.00 per day Work Location: On the road
