Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary As a Dump Truck Driver, you’ll transport materials safely and efficiently to support active job sites and delivery operations. You’ll inspect your vehicle, follow assigned routes, and coordinate loading and unloading with site teams. The role focuses on dump truck work; familiarity with other commercial vehicles and freight operations is useful where assignments require it. Responsibilities Drive dump trucks on local routes and, as assigned, over-the-road (OTR) routes using GPS navigation. Inspect vehicles before and after trips; report maintenance, load, or safety concerns promptly. Coordinate truck loading and unloading, including manual handling when needed, and secure cargo for transport. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, as well as applicable hazardous materials rules when handling dangerous goods. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help site teams receive materials and keep their work moving. Experience(2 years minimum) Required: Valid commercial driving qualifications for the assigned vehicle and a safe driving record. Experience with truck driving, commercial truck driving, route driving work is valuable; manual-transmission experience may be needed. Preferred: Tractor-trailer, flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, automobile transportation, logistics cargo handling, and freight experience.
