Dump Truck Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers on over-the-road (OTR) routes and local delivery routes Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling techniques while ensuring cargo is secured properly according to logistics cargo handling standards Navigate using GPS systems to reach destinations accurately and on time Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and hazardous goods handling protocols Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with DOT regulations Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure truck safety and compliance Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for tractor-trailer operations; experience with manual transmission preferred Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across diverse terrain Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and hazardous goods handling procedures Ability to manually handle cargo loads safely while adhering to safety standards for manual handling tasks Experience with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution Excellent driving record demonstrating safe operation of heavy-duty vehicles over long distances (over the road routes) We’re looking for motivated drivers who are eager to contribute their skills in a lively environment dedicated to safety and efficiency.
