Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary As a Dump Truck Driver, you’ll transport materials safely and efficiently to support active job sites and delivery operations. You’ll inspect your vehicle, follow assigned routes, and coordinate loading and unloading with site teams. The role centers on dump truck and commercial truck driving; experience with other equipment or freight types is useful but not required. Responsibilities Operate a dump truck on local routes and, when assigned, over-the-road (OTR) driving routes; use GPS navigation to follow directions and adjust routes safely. Inspect the truck before and after trips, report maintenance or safety concerns, and comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Coordinate truck loading and unloading, load and unload materials as directed, and use safe manual handling practices. Secure and transport freight responsibly; follow applicable hazardous materials regulations when handling dangerous goods or hazmat loads. Your impact: Careful driving and secure material handling help site teams receive deliveries safely and keep work moving. Experience Required: Valid commercial driving qualifications for the assigned vehicle, a safe driving record, and the ability to operate a dump truck and manual transmission if required. Preferred: Delivery driver experience, route driving, commercial truck driving, tractor-trailer, flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, automobile transportation, logistics cargo handling, or other truck driving experience. Familiarity with hazmat, dangerous goods, and applicable regulations is helpful; requirements depend on assigned loads and equipment. Able to perform job-related manual handling and follow safe loading, unloading, and delivery procedures. Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
