Duties Safely operate dump trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Load and unload cargo with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of freight such as hazardous materials or dangerous goods when applicable Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before operating the vehicle Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, route information, and delivery documentation in accordance with regulatory standards Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate route planning, cargo handling, and timely deliveries or pickups Snow removal on residential and commercial properties on snow days Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers preferred Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across diverse terrains Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for manual transmission trucks Experience with truck loading/unloading procedures and cargo handling for freight such as freight containers or hazardous goods Ability to operate GPS navigation systems accurately for efficient route management Strong manual handling skills for load & unload tasks while adhering to safety standards Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance in hazardous or sensitive cargo transportation Join us as a Dump Truck Driver to drive your career forward!
