Job Summary Digg'n 4U Contracting is a small Excavation/Road Maintenance Contractor in Lake Country BC. We specialize in small civil works, land prep and general excavating gravel hauling as well as providing Road Maintenance services to the District of Lake Country. Currently Digg'n 4U has an immediate opening for a Class 1 Dump Truck driver with quad hauling experience. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be required to transport gravel materials throughout the Central Okanagan and support seasonal plowing and occasional equipment moves. The role involves daily pre-trip inspections, regular equipment greasing, and operating trucks with quad or pup trailers. Your impact: Careful inspections and dependable deliveries help keep materials and equipment moving safely to support field operations. Duties Complete mandatory pre-trip inspections each day. Grease equipment regularly and monitor its condition. Pull quad trailers or pup trailers as assigned. Deliver gravel to varied locations across the Central Okanagan. Operate a plow truck throughout the winter. Occasionally move excavation equipment using a flat deck trailer. Qualifications Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle and trailer combination. Ability to safely operate dump trucks and pull trailers. Familiarity with pre-trip inspections and basic equipment care. Sound judgment when driving to changing delivery locations. Ability to operate a plow truck in winter conditions. Ability to secure and transport equipment on a flat deck trailer.
