Dump Truck Driver
BRONA TRANSPORTOverview Brona Transport is currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Dump Truck Driver to transport construction materials across the Maritimes. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stable, year-round work and competitive compensation. Responsibilities Operate dump truck safely and efficiently to transport construction materials Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections (tires, brakes, lights, signals, etc.) Complete and maintain accurate logbooks (electronic or manual) Prepare and manage transportation documentation (e.g., bills of lading) Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Ensure compliance with all safety and transportation regulations Requirements Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License Clean Driver’s Abstract Minimum 2 years of driving experience, including at least 1 year operating a dump truck Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and follow instructions Experience Proven experience operating dump trucks in a commercial setting. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including forklifts is preferred. Familiarity with freight handling and transportation regulations is essential. Experience with automotive repair or basic mechanical troubleshooting is a plus. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record required. Prior experience working with heavy machinery or construction materials is advantageous.
