Dump Truck Driver
Preston Contractors, Inc.Responsibilities: - Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites - Load and unload materials using the dump truck's hydraulic system - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving the dump truck - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the dump truck to ensure it is in good working condition - Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates on job assignments - Complete all necessary paperwork, such as delivery tickets and logbooks, accurately and in a timely manner Qualifications: - Valid Class B CDL (Commercial Driver's License) a must. Class A is a plus but not required. - Proven experience as a dump truck driver or in a similar role - Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures - Ability to operate other types of trucks, such as flatbed, refrigerated trailer, roll off truck, tanker, etc. - Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others We offer competitive pay rates and benefits packages for qualified candidates.
