4hireOverview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, and other bulk loads to various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route navigation, and load management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks with manual transmission efficiently and safely across diverse routes and terrains Load and unload materials accurately using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks Ensure proper securing of freight Follow designated routes and schedules to meet project deadlines while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, route information, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate pickups and drop-offs Requirements Valid class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for dump trucks and specialized trailers 2 Years of Experience Required Current Health Card Proven experience in truck driving, especially with Super 18's, Supers 16's, End Dumps & Ten-Wheeler Trucks Familiarity with manual transmission operation and handling freight loads securely Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight transportation, route driving, and vehicle maintenance Ability to perform physical tasks including loading/unloading cargo and inspecting equipment regularly Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and following safety procedures Join us in delivering essential materials efficiently while prioritizing safety and professionalism.
