DSP Operations Manager (Delivering Amazon Packages)

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced DSP Operations Manager to lead our package delivery operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this important role, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring timely, efficient, and safe distribution of packages. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, foster continuous improvement, and optimize logistics workflows to meet high standards of customer satisfaction. Duties Lead and supervise delivery operations teams (on road) staff, drivers, and coordinate with Amazon, ensuring smooth daily functions. Develop and execute strategic plans for distribution management, transportation planning, and demand forecasting to meet delivery targets. Monitor key performance indicators related to profit & loss, inventory control, and operational efficiency; implement corrective actions as needed. Drive process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to streamline workflows. Manage transportation management systems Manage Driver performance Ensure compliance with safety standards, warehouse operations protocols, and shipping & receiving procedures while supervising team performance. Skills Proven experience in warehouse supervision, distribution operations, or logistics management with strong team leadership skills. Expertise in supply chain analytics, demand planning, production planning, and freight/shipping & receiving processes. Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Knowledge of procurement processes including purchasing policies and supply chain procurement strategies such as 3PL partnerships and NVOCC operations. Ability to analyze supply chain data for process optimization; experience with logistics management tools is highly desirable.
