As a Delivery Driver, you will play an important role in ensuring Amazon packages are delivered safely, accurately, and on time to residential and business customers. This position involves operating a company-provided delivery vehicle, following assigned delivery routes, loading and unloading packages, and providing professional customer service throughout the workday. Successful candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, navigating various neighborhoods, and performing physical tasks while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and delivery quality. Key Responsibilities Safe Vehicle Operation: Operate an Amazon-approved delivery vehicle safely and responsibly while following all traffic laws, company policies, and applicable safety requirements. Package Delivery: Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations according to assigned routes, delivery instructions, and scheduled timeframes. Loading and Unloading: Load, organize, lift, carry, and unload packages safely, including packages weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Route Management: Use a company-provided or approved mobile device for GPS navigation, package scanning, delivery verification, and communication with dispatch. Customer Service: Represent HAUL OF FAME LOGISTICS, LLC and Amazon professionally by providing courteous service and following customer delivery instructions. Vehicle Inspections: Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain a clean and organized vehicle, and promptly report damage, maintenance concerns, or safety issues. Delivery Accuracy: Verify packages and delivery locations, follow designated delivery procedures, and accurately document completed deliveries. Teamwork: Communicate effectively with dispatch and management, assist team members when needed, and follow instructions regarding route support and additional deliveries. Safety Compliance: Follow all applicable company policies, Amazon DSP delivery procedures, and workplace safety guidelines. Attendance and Reliability: Arrive on time, attend required training, maintain dependable attendance, and complete assigned shifts and delivery responsibilities. Qualifications and Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid driver's license and meet applicable driving eligibility requirements. Must successfully complete required background checks, motor vehicle record (MVR) screening, drug screening, and other applicable pre-employment requirements. Must demonstrate safe driving habits and a commitment to following traffic laws and company safety policies. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, reach, and climb stairs as needed to perform delivery duties, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be comfortable entering and exiting a delivery vehicle frequently throughout the shift. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and safely navigate residential and commercial delivery areas. Must be comfortable using a smartphone or delivery device for navigation, package scanning, and communication. Must demonstrate strong communication, time-management, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
