WHAT THE WEEK PAYS Average $1,200 to $1,800 a week, roughly $62,400 to $93,600 a year, paid weekly $0.85 per mile to start $50 for every live load or live unload $10 for every drop and hook $30 short-haul pay on runs under 100 miles $10 detention pay after 2 hours of waiting HOW THE DAY MOVES This is a fast-paced "turn and burn" account, with several loads a day. Expect a mix of live loading, live unloading and drop and hook, so the day passes quickly and the stops add to your earnings.
