Dry Order Pickers/Walkie Rider Operators *Immediate Start*

Dry Order Picker CJR Wholesale Grocers is a family-owned business serving the GTA for over 25 years. We provide independent grocers with a reliable, high quality one-stop shop. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Dry Order Picker to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will assemble, inspect, and stage customer orders within a dry warehouse environment while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Monday to Friday 1:30 pm to 10:00pm Employment type: Permanent, Full Time Existing Vacancy: Yes AI Disclosure: Not Used Location: 5876 Coopers Ave, Mississauga, ON, L4Z 2B9 Reporting to: Supervisor Key Duties & Responsibilities ● Order Assembly: Read work orders, accurately pick items from stock, and build customer orders on pallets. ● Quality & Inspection: Inspect products to ensure saleable condition and acceptable code dates; report any discrepancies immediately to the supervisor. ● Equipment Operation & Staging: Safely operate a walkie ride-on electric pallet truck to prepare and move orders to designated shipping staging areas. ● Documentation & Labeling: Label materials using appropriate methods, process required paperwork, maintain tracking records, and resolve issues regarding missing documents, shipments, or deliveries. ● Safety & Workplace Standards: Maintain an organized workspace following company policies, safety regulations, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance. ● Housekeeping & Facility Maintenance: Perform typical warehouse housekeeping duties, such as cleaning debris from damaged inventory to maintain a clean and safe work environment. ● Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Technical Requirements ● Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. ● Certifications: Raymond Walkie Ride-on required. ● Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. ● Math Skills: Basic mathematical proficiency. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements ● Physical Demands: Ability to perform continuous heavy lifting and moving of items up to 50 lbs using safe lifting techniques. ● Teamwork & Efficiency: Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. ● Key Traits: High attention to detail, strong organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills, with a positive work ethic.
