Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dry Bulk Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting dry bulk materials across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will be vital to maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellence. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers and flatbed trucks for over-the-road (OTR) routes, transporting dry bulk commodities efficiently across designated delivery zones Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and proper securement according to logistics cargo handling standards Utilize GPS navigation systems to follow optimized delivery routes, ensuring punctuality and adherence to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Handle hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and hazardous materials regulations Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking manual transmissions, refrigerated trailers if applicable, and safety equipment Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any route or cargo issues promptly Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with tractor-trailer or flatbed trucks preferred Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation within a logistics environment Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and handle manual loading/unloading tasks Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient delivery execution Experience with refrigerated trailers or tanker trucks is a plus but not required Strong manual handling skills for cargo loading/unloading; ability to secure freight properly on flatbeds or tankers Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service Join us as a Dry Bulk Driver and become an essential part of our logistics team!
