Driver with Class A CDL & Landoll Trailer Experience Required

We are seeking a CDL Transportation Driver to join our team! This position also requires an experienced heavy haul driver. The Transportation Driver will perform a variety of duties in the Operation Department such as hauling, loading/unloading, filtering, sampling, etc... In addition, the Transportation Driver will be responsible for pick up and/or delivery of new or used forklifts or other heavy equipment to customer sites or other designated locations. After all, the Toyota way means always seeking a better way. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Haul forklifts and other heavy equipment to and from locations. Load/unload equipment. Safely secure equipment for transport. Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations. Manage routes and routines to proceed in the most efficient way possible. Accurately complete required paperwork, including bill of lading and logbooks. Conduct daily inspections of vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management. Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and Company safety programs. Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor. Ability to process paperwork in an organized and timely manner. Must be punctual to work and when returning from meal period(s) and rest break(s) with a full adherence to set work shift schedule. Must be flexible with daily work schedule as overtime may be required. Must satisfactorily pass Company paid DOT drug screen and physical examination. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (GED), required. Must be 21 years of age. Three (3) years’ experience of heavy equipment hauling, required. Two (2) to three (3) years' working knowledge of forklift operation, preferred. Must possess valid Class A CDL from the state of California. Must have a clean DMV record, with no traffic convictions defined by FMCSA that would disqualify a CDL. Physical Requirements: Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, sitting, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward. Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds unaided, must ask for assistance as needed. Must be able to physically listen, speak and interact with other Company associates, vendors, and customers regarding Service department needs.
