Hunt / Williams-Sonoma Furniture Delivery Position Overview JDG Truckin Company, LLC is seeking a reliable, experienced, safety-conscious, and professional Box Truck Delivery Driver for our white-glove furniture delivery operations. PLEASE READ ALL REQUIREMENTS BEFORE APPLYING. This position involves operating a 26-foot box truck and delivering furniture to residential customers under a J.B. Hunt-managed delivery contract. This is not a drive-only position. Drivers are expected to assist with furniture handling, unloading, delivery, and other required white-glove services. White-glove furniture delivery requires exceptional attention to detail, careful merchandise handling, accurate documentation, and professional customer service. Drivers must follow strict delivery procedures and meet client expectations. English proficiency is mandatory. Bilingual English/Spanish applicants are highly preferred, but all drivers must be able to communicate effectively in English and satisfy applicable federal DOT requirements. Mandatory Driving and Insurance Requirements 1. Valid Driver's License – 24 Consecutive Months of ACTIVE Licensing Our insurance provider requires every driver to have maintained an active, valid driver's license for at least 24 CONSECUTIVE MONTHS immediately preceding the date of submission for insurance approval. This means: You must currently possess an active, valid driver's license. Your license must have remained continuously active and valid throughout the immediately preceding 24 months. There must be no interruptions in valid licensing, including suspensions, revocations, or periods when the license was expired. Previous driving experience does not substitute for the continuous active-license requirement. An older license history does not qualify if there was an interruption within the most recent 24 months. License renewals or transfers between states may be acceptable if there was no interruption in valid licensing and the history can be verified. Your licensing history must be verifiable through your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and additional documentation if required. Example: If submitted to our insurance provider in November 2026, you must have maintained a continuously active and valid driver's license since at least November 2024. THIS IS A STRICT INSURANCE REQUIREMENT. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET IT CANNOT BE APPROVED TO DRIVE OUR VEHICLES. 2. Acceptable Driving Record and MVR Must have a satisfactory driving record. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check is mandatory. Must meet all company, client, and insurance eligibility standards. 3. DOT Medical Certification Must possess a current, valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT medical card). Applicants without a current certificate may receive assistance scheduling an examination. Required certification must be completed before driving. 4. Mandatory Background Check and Drug Screening Must successfully complete the required background screening. Must complete and pass a pre-assignment drug screening. Screening results must meet applicable company and client eligibility standards. No applicant will be assigned to a driving route until required screenings and qualifications have been approved. 5. English Language Proficiency Must be able to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to meet applicable DOT driver qualification requirements. Must be capable of communicating with customers, warehouse staff, management, and law enforcement. Must understand written delivery instructions, safety requirements, and required documentation. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are strongly preferred but not required.
