Driver / Warehouse & Container Loader

Job Overview Rapido Cargo Miami is a shipping and logistics company specializing in transporting packages, personal belongings, and commercial cargo from the United States to Honduras. We are looking for responsible, hardworking, and dependable Drivers / Container Loaders to join our team. Job Description We are seeking individuals to perform cargo pickups throughout the Greater Miami area, assist customers with shipping their belongings, and transport all collected cargo safely back to our local warehouse. This position involves driving, customer service, invoicing, handling payments, physical labor, warehouse operations, and loading shipping containers. Responsibilities Drive assigned routes and follow applicable safety procedures and delivery instructions. Pick orders and support accurate inventory management. Load and unload containers, vehicles, and warehouse shipments; move materials with forklifts, pallet jacks, or other approved equipment. Driving & Cargo Pickups Pick up packages, boxes, furniture, appliances, and other cargo from customers throughout Miami-Dade and surrounding areas. Customer Service, Invoicing & Payments Measure boxes and calculate their cubic footage accurately for invoicing. Prepare invoices correctly using the company's established rates and procedures. Collect customer payments and provide the corresponding receipts. Ensure all payments, measurements, and invoices are accurately recorded and reported. Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic questions about our shipping services. Cargo Inspection & Warehouse Responsibilities Inspect cargo to ensure items comply with company policies and shipping regulations. Check for prohibited, hazardous, illegal, or restricted items before accepting shipments. Ensure all cargo is properly labeled with the customer's name, destination city, and corresponding invoice. Properly wrap, package, and protect cargo when required. Verify that customers receive any additional packaging or protection services they have paid for. Unload, organize, and place collected cargo in the appropriate warehouse areas. Assist with loading shipping containers and other warehouse duties as assigned. Report damaged, suspicious, improperly packaged, or undocumented cargo to management. . Qualifications & Requirements Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Work Schedule Full-time position Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Must have availability to work any day of the week, including weekends . One day off per week , assigned according to operational needs. Flexibility to work additional hours during busy shipping seasons when needed. Fluent Spanish is required; basic English is a plus. Familiarity with Honduran and Central American communities, terminology, and shipping practices is highly preferred. Previous experience driving cargo vans, box trucks, or similar vehicles is preferred. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy boxes, furniture, and other cargo safely, with appropriate equipment or assistance. Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including loading and unloading shipping containers. Basic math skills to calculate measurements, cubic footage, and customer charges. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Honest, trustworthy, responsible, and punctual. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently, plan routes, and follow company procedures. Previous experience in moving, logistics, deliveries, or warehouse operations is a plus.
