The Food Bank of Wyoming’s Driver/ Warehouse will be instrumental in supporting Casper, Wyoming distribution center. This position will consist of roughly 60% driving duties and 40% warehouse duties. When not on their set routes the driver will cover other day runs as needed and assist with warehouse duties. The driver will be comfortable driving in all weather conditions and will frequently interact with volunteers, Hunger Relief Partners, and the public. The mission of Food Bank of Wyoming is to ignite the power of community to nourish people facing hunger. We provide food and necessities to people in need through signature programs and by teaming up with hundreds of Hunger Relief Partners to serve communities across Wyoming. Primary Responsibilities Maintain food industry standards and certification for proper product handling, storage, and distribution in accordance with Food Bank of Wyoming and Feeding America Standards. Drive a tractor 48'-53' Trailer combinations to respective locations throughout Wyoming with occasional overnights required. Unload and load food at external locations, working closely with the Food Bank of Wyoming team, partner agencies, and volunteers according to delivery specifications and within Food Bank of Wyoming policies. Responsible for maintaining driver ELD on Samsara, Pre-Trip inspections, and other maintenance schedules according to DOT regulations. Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitized cab, cargo area, and food-handling equipment. Maintain receipts, invoices, and other required paperwork for each site. Turning them in Assists with warehouse duties: Stocking shelves, record keeping, waste, inventory counts, sanitation. Equipment, building, and grounds Perform all other duties as assigned or delegated Core Competencies The Driver/Warehouse Class A demonstrates the following core competencies in daily practice: Instills Trust: Driver is reliable, honest, safety-conscious, and accountable. Collaborates: Driver can communicate and coordinate with the Transportation and Warehouse teams when it comes to deliveries, donations brought back to the warehouse, and availability on non-route days to help in the warehouse. Recognizing that your consistency, communication, attitude, and efficiency directly impact our mission and the community. Ensures Accountability: Driver will take full ownership of their tasks, correcting errors immediately, and keeping their promises to the Organization and Partners. Arriving on time, maintaining consistent attendance, and completing all required Pre/Post Trips daily on equipment utilized.
