Driver/Warehouse Associate

A Driver/Warehouse Associate, is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. This person will also be requested to drive for delivery part-time. CDL not needed as this is for a local box truck delivery. Their duties include but are not limited to loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels. Monday-Friday Start at 7 or 8AM - This is a full time position. Average 40+ hours a week 90 days probation period Reliable transportation to work Prior experience working in a warehouse is a plus Knowledge of operating a forklift Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 50 pounds Performing duties safely and within company guidelines Ability to work independently and safely Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay. Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return. Supporting the inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse. Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notifying the supervisor. Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping. Managing all merchandise with appropriate care. Assisting with training of newly employed workers. Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
