Driver/Warehouse Assistant

Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company is looking for someone to help us in our warehouse and with deliveries at our mothership in Buellton! Job Title : Driver / Warehouse Assistant Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt Reports to: Warehouse Manager Position Summary: The driver/warehouse assistant is responsible for delivering kegs, bottled beers, marketing materials and event equipment to all FMB taprooms and being an ambassador for the Buellton production facility. In addition to delivering beer this position also assists the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day operations in the warehouse including, but not limited to, the safe and efficient shipping, receiving, storage, and rotation of goods, inventory management, and taking and fulfilling sales orders from wholesalers and Tap Room, and otherwise working with other members of the team to ensure day to day operations in the warehouse and brewery run in the manner and to the Figueroa Mountain Brewery’s standard. Duties and Responsibilities: (additional duties may be assigned) Loading kegs in and out of the company van for delivery. Delivering kegs to FMB taprooms locations as well as picking up materials from vendor locations. Returning empty keg shells to brewery location. Prepare orders for shipment, pick goods, and otherwise assist with fulfilling orders coming in from Tap Room, Distributors, and Breweries Assist with receiving in orders including loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles, inspecting goods, signing delivery documents, and storing appropriately. Document damaged, missing, or faulty goods and report immediately to supervisor. Track beer/kegs, raw materials etc. via lot codes per FMB procedure. Report immediately any beer being returned to the brewery immediately to supervisor. Comply with all health and safety regulations and policies. Follow inventory and organizational standards. Keep track of supplies & goods and record on appropriate inventory sheets. Report deficiencies to supervisor. Operate forklift to move goods, supplies and equipment around the facility safely and efficiently as needed. Troubleshoot and report all equipment problems, violations, or substandard practices to the Operations Manager immediately. Consult weekly cleaning and maintenance schedule & direct warehouse team to ensure they are completed regularly and to the appropriate standard. Monitor preventative maintenance on a weekly/monthly basis as required and follow all Cleaning & Maintenance Schedules. Attend regular staff meetings. Must have a clean driving record Able to lift heavy draft beer kegs. Additional duties and projects as assigned.
