Driver Training Logistics Associate
ConfidentialJob Description: GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Coordinate and maintain the Student/Trainer program, insuring efficiency, utilization, and driver retention. This positions’ work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm. Student/Trainer Assignments - Assign students to trainers weekly. Work with Operations and Road Trainers to coordinate student pickup and student drop-off locations. Communicate with student and trainer all travel arrangements. Act as fleet manager to all students from completion of Crossing the Bridge class to solo date. 2. Coordinating Travel and Lodging – Secure rental cars, flights, bus tickets etc. to facilitate the travel of students and staff as needed. Provide lodging for students and staff enroute to training locations. 3. Maintaining Dashboard and Data- Ensure Dashboard is current with all student and trainer information. Monitor Dashboard to ensure students have completed all training required prior to being scheduled for final evaluation. Track training data and travel expenses. 4. Assign and manage inbound applicants for onsite hotel accommodations. Assign and manage overflow to offsite hotels; maintain hotel spreadsheet for offsite hotels. Assist in the creation of department action plans that support the company's strategic business plan. Ensure company confidentiality. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. WORKING CONDITION S Normal working conditions as found within an office setting, wherein there is controlled temperature and a low noise level, plus a minimum of distractions.
