Driver Tractor Trailer, On-Call, Part Time - Class A

Company Overview Wadhams Enterprises, Inc. is a family-owned and operated transportation company. We are searching for Part-time, On-Call class A Shuttle driver. Position is based out of East Earl, PA. This driver will be moving empty trailers to and from shop locations, our location, and customer yard locations. Overview We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Class A Tractor Trailer Driver to join our dynamic team, at our East Earl facility! The employee will be responsible for shuttling equipment between the East Earl shop and other locations. Class A CDL is required. Tank endorsement is not required. There are no set hours for this position since it is on call as needed. The shop is staffed Monday through Friday. Starting pay would be in the $20-$22/hr range. Some weeks there is equipment moving every day. Other weeks, there may only be a single move. It must be understood that there is no set schedule for this position. We typically know the day before if equipment is going to need moved and would reach out to a shuttle driver on the list for their availability. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle inspections in accordance with safety standards. Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including tractor-trailer operations Familiarity with trailers, or tanker configurations preferred Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently Experience with route driving and delivery driving in various environments Understanding of FMCSA regulations, and DOT safety standards Excellent navigation skills utilizing GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning Join us to be part of a team that values safety, efficiency, and excellent service!
