Entry-Level Position | Paid Training | Opportunity to Advance (Position closes 10/23, Please schedule interview before then) We are a fast-growing FAA-regulated aerospace repair facility looking for a dependable person to join our team in Shipping & Receiving and serve as a backup driver when needed. No previous aerospace, shipping, or shop experience is necessary. We will train the right person. This is primarily a Shipping & Receiving position. Most of your day will be spent working in our shipping area receiving, checking in, packing, and preparing aerospace parts for movement between our facilities and customers. You will also serve as our second driver, providing backup support to our primary driver when needed. What You'll Do Your primary responsibilities will include: Receive and check in incoming parts Verify incoming parts and paperwork Unpack and organize incoming shipments Pack and prepare completed parts for delivery or shipment Help maintain an organized Shipping & Receiving area Load and unload parts Assist with tracking parts moving in and out of the facility Help with general shop duties when needed Driving Duties Drive to our sister location in Farmerville, TX Complete local pickups and deliveries Handle occasional hot-shot deliveries Load and unload the parts you are transporting Parts generally range from approximately 1 lb. to 65 lbs., with the majority weighing less than 10 lbs. Assistance will be available when handling larger or heavier parts. What We're Looking For Valid driver's license Clean driving record Dependable and punctual Organized and able to keep track of parts and paperwork Able to safely lift and handle parts up to 65 lbs. Comfortable working in both a shipping area and shop environment Willing to work and learn Able to work independently and help wherever needed This Is More Than a Shipping Position We consider this a first-step position within our company. We promote from within, and this position gives you the opportunity to learn how our aerospace repair operation works from the ground up. Employees who show reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn can have the opportunity to move into more skilled positions. Our drivers and entry-level employees commonly advance within approximately two to three years. Depending on your ability and interests, future training opportunities may include: Shot Peening Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) CNC Machining Aerospace component repair Other skilled shop and production positions Please note: Drug testing is not required for this Shipping & Receiving / Backup Driver position. However, employees who advance into certain FAA-regulated positions will be required to participate in our drug and alcohol testing program. If you are dependable, organized, willing to work, and interested in learning a skilled trade, there is room to build a career here. You don't need years of experience. You need a good attitude, a clean driving record, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
