Job Responsibilities: Operate a delivery van and deliver products to our customers. Maintain open communication with the store and with dispatch. Verify the accuracy of orders to ensure customer satisfaction. Assist customers in an enthusiastic and courteous manner. Advise and assist customers with their choice of product. Assist in restocking products to ensure salesfloor is well merchandised. Develop and maintain product knowledge to effectively assist customers. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a clean driving record. Two or more years of delivery experience are required. Must be reliable and demonstrate commitment to scheduled shifts. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks. Excellent communication, listening and speaking skills. Retail experience is desired, preferably one year or more. Individuals with Paint or Hardware Retail experience are highly encouraged to apply. Our stores are open Monday-Friday (7am-6pm) and Saturdays (8am-4pm). Employees must be available to work shifts that are scheduled during those business hours and some overtime as necessary. Must be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from diverse backgrounds and possess a professional appearance and demeanor.
