Driver's Helper

Job Summary As a Driver’s Helper, you’ll support deliveries by preparing, moving, and handling items safely, assisting the driver, and providing courteous customer service. This hands-on role suits someone who communicates clearly, works well with others, and takes care when handling heavy loads. Responsibilities Help load, unload, move, and organize items at the warehouse and delivery locations, using safe handling practices. Assist the driver with delivery stops, route-related tasks, and clear communication about items and customer needs. Operate a forklift when appropriate and authorized, following workplace safety procedures. Treat customers respectfully, confirm delivery details, and keep colleagues informed of progress or issues. Your impact: Careful handling and dependable updates help customers receive their items smoothly and help the delivery team stay coordinated. Skills Required: Practical moving and heavy-lifting capabilities, clear communication, and a safety-conscious approach are important for supporting loading, unloading, and delivery work. Preferred: Customer service skills, warehouse experience, forklift experience, and familiarity with commercial driving can help you contribute confidently and support an efficient delivery team.
