eeking an energetic, results-driven Driver Recruiter with 2+ years of experience to join our Bolton team, dedicated specifically to expanding and maintaining our US Division fleet. In this role, you will own full-cycle recruitment, sourcing and hiring cross-border and US-based commercial drivers. Operating from our Bolton office, you will serve as the primary brand ambassador for prospective drivers, guiding them from initial outreach and US/DOT regulatory screening through to onboarding hand-off.
Duties
• Proactively attract, source, and engage qualified AZ / Class A commercial drivers for US routes using job boards, social media, industry networking, referral programs, and direct outreach.
• Conduct thorough phone screens and structured interviews to evaluate driver experience, safety mindset, cross-border capabilities, and route compatibility.
• Request, review, and verify US-specific qualification documents, including US DOT/FMCSA driver files, Motor Vehicle Records (MVR), PSP reports, criminal background checks, employment verifications, and drug/alcohol clearinghouse records.
• Build and maintain an active pipeline of cross-border and US division drivers to quickly fill open lanes and adapt to operational volume shifts.
• Partner closely with HR, Terminal Operations, and US Dispatch to schedule orientation, ensure 100% compliance before dispatch, and facilitate smooth driver onboarding.
• Maintain real-time candidate tracking using internal HR systems to report on recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, retention, driver source performance).
Requirements
• 2+ years of dedicated experience in high-volume commercial driver recruiting, with experience in US division or cross-border transportation talent acquisition..
• Solid understanding of FMCSA/US DOT driver qualification rules, Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse procedures, PSP records, and MVR evaluation. Knowledge of MTO/CVOR standards is a strong asset.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive, professional phone manner to engage drivers remotely.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, social media tools), and standard office software (MS Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thriving in a fast-paced logistics and terminal environment.
