Driver Recruiter Build Your Career with RoadOne IntermodaLogistics! RoadOne IntermodaLogistics is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Driver Recruiter to join our growing team! In this role, you'll play an important part in attracting, recruiting, and onboarding qualified Independent Contractors, Owner-Operators, and Company Drivers to support our transportation operations. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive communicator who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and helping drivers succeed. You'll partner closely with operations leadership to identify driver capacity needs, develop recruiting strategies, and create a positive experience from initial contact through onboarding and retention. What You'll Do Drive Recruitment Efforts: Source, screen, interview, and recruit qualified Independent Contractors, Owner-Operators, and Company Drivers to meet operational needs. Build Recruiting Strategies: Partner with Service Center Managers and operational leadership to develop location-specific recruiting plans and campaigns. Manage Candidate Pipelines: Respond to incoming leads, evaluate driver qualifications, collect applications, and maintain accurate candidate records in recruiting systems. Coordinate the Hiring Process: Schedule interviews, drug screenings, physical examinations, truck inspections, and other required pre-employment activities. Lead Driver Onboarding: Coordinate and conduct new driver orientations, ensuring a consistent, welcoming, and informative onboarding experience. Support Driver Retention: Participate in driver engagement initiatives, including the company's 90-Day Retention Program, to improve satisfaction and reduce turnover. Promote Driver Programs: Educate prospective and current drivers on RoadOne's RoadPerk benefits, Owner-Operator programs, and available resources. Partner with Operations: Work closely with Area Directors, Service Center Managers, and internal teams to understand driver capacity requirements and anticipate staffing needs. Maintain Accurate Records: Track recruiting activity, driver information, applications, and program updates using company systems. Support Contractor Programs: Assist with updates and changes related to truck insurance, plate programs, IFTA, and other applicable contractor services. Represent RoadOne: Promote recruiting opportunities through outreach, local advertising, recruiting events, and community engagement. Monitor Recruiting Performance: Communicate recruiting progress, driver capacity needs, and retention trends to operational leadership. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. Approximately 2 years of recruiting, transportation, logistics, or related experience preferred. Experience recruiting CDL drivers, Owner-Operators, or Independent Contractors is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, online recruiting platforms, and applicant tracking systems. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong customer service mindset and commitment to providing a positive driver experience. Willingness to travel locally as needed to support recruiting initiatives and distribute recruiting materials. Why Join RoadOne?
