TransLandDriver Recruiter In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following: Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with customers and other employees. Position purpose Own the full recruiting lifecycle by sourcing, engaging, screening, and hiring qualified professional drivers to support TransLand’s growth. This role plays a critical part in building a best-in-class fleet by delivering a high-quality candidate experience while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and company hiring standards. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks Own the full recruiting lifecycle from initial contact through onboarding and orientation Conduct high-volume outbound and inbound calls, texts, and emails to engage driver applicants Source candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, CDL schools, and networking opportunities Pre-screen applicants, verify qualifications, and assess fit for TransLand Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process Keep applicants informed, engaged, and moving efficiently through each stage of recruiting Clearly communicate TransLand’s value proposition, including equipment, compensation, home time, and culture Guide candidates through the decision-making process and secure hiring commitments Maintain accurate and compliant records in the Applicant Tracking System (Tenstreet) Track and manage recruiting metrics and performance goals Deliver a positive, professional, and consistent candidate experience Attend career fairs, CDL schools, and recruiting events as needed Collaborate with Marketing to develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies and advertising campaigns Partner with HR, Safety, and Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding and transition experience Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision Interact professionally with potential employees, current employees, and all stakeholders Contribute as a strong team player while managing an independent workload Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn Qualifications Experience in recruiting, sales, call center, or high-volume customer service preferred Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to meet and exceed hiring targets Transportation or logistics industry experience preferred but not required Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence decisions Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle a high volume of daily outreach and follow-up, as well as source leads Problem-solving skills and ability to overcome objections professionally Knowledge of employment law and hiring practices preferred Strong customer service and relationship-building skills High-performance team mentality with the ability to collaborate across departments Commitment to company values of safety, integrity, and service excellence Computer proficiency, including Applicant Tracking Systems Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $22.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Strafford, MO 65757 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Strafford, MO 65757: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
