Role and Responsibilities of Driver Recruiter:
You will support driver recruitment efforts by sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding qualified independent contractor drivers across multiple markets. This role focuses on building strong candidate relationships, managing recruitment activities, ensuring compliance requirements are met, and supporting operational success through a reliable driver network.
• Source potential driver candidates through job boards, social media, industry forums, and local networking channels.
• Conduct interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, driving experience, and alignment with the independent contractor model.
• Guide candidates through the onboarding process and ensure completion of required documentation, background checks, driving records, and compliance requirements.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with drivers throughout the recruitment process.
• Communicate company values, mission, and benefits to prospective independent contractor drivers.
• Track recruitment activities and provide updates on hiring progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Maintain compliance by ensuring drivers meet required certifications, insurance standards, and vehicle requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support recruiting goals and operational needs.
Required Skills and Experience of Driver Recruiter:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using recruitment tools, databases, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address candidate concerns and recruitment challenges.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with candidates and internal partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience preferred, especially in logistics, transportation, or similar industries.
