Driver Recruiter At NAPA Transportation, recruiting is about more than filling seats. We're looking for a Driver Recruiter who understands the importance of building meaningful relationships, setting clear expectations, and finding Company Drivers and Independent Contractors who align with our values and hiring standards. We know the transportation industry isn't always known for delivering on its promises, and we're committed to doing things differently. As one of the first points of contact for prospective drivers, you'll play an important role in representing NAPA's commitment to honesty, transparency, and driver satisfaction. Our goal is to be a final destination employer, and that starts with building relationships that lead to long-term success for both our drivers and NAPA. Key Responsibilities: Proactively source qualified drivers through cold calling, job boards, ATS, career fairs, networking, and social media. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of driver candidates aligned with NAPA's hiring needs. Maintain consistent communication with candidates, providing updates and guidance throughout the recruiting process. Review applications, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidates against NAPA's hiring standards and DOT requirements. Coordinate and verify driver onboarding requirements, including background checks, MVRs, DAC reports, and employment verifications. Coordinate driver orientation and ensure a smooth transition through the onboarding process. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the ATS. Meet or exceed weekly and monthly recruiting goals while prioritizing driver quality and long-term retention. Who We’re Looking For: 2+ years of recruiting experience required; high-volume or driver recruiting experience preferred. Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with a genuine interest in understanding drivers' goals and finding the right long-term fit. Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership throughout the recruiting process. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple candidates and priorities. Ability to work onsite and participate in an on-call rotation.
